1-2 coats, applying 40-80 grams per square meter, yielding approximately 12-25 square meters per liter, depending on the surface’s absorption characteristics.
Spread the oil evenly and thinly with a brush, roller or surface brush in the direction of the grain. After 20-30 minutes in thr wet phase, buff it in with a white pad or cotton cloth. Possibly remove excess oil with a cotton cloth. In the case that the wood is very dry, a second coat can be applied after the first coat has dried overnight for 24 hours. DO NOT paint wood in damp weather or in direct sunlight.
1 – 2 Coats Needed
The surface will be dust-dry after 1 to 2 hours, depending on humidity and temperature conditions. It is essential to protect the surface from water for the first 2-3 days until it has fully cured.
Hardwood oil for outdoor use. Weather and water repellent. Penetrates deeply into the wood and thus protects it effectively against UV’s, weathering and greying of the furniture or decks. Safe for animals, children’s toys, plants and humans.

For reconditioning and care, use Oli South Africa Yacht and Teaköl twice a year. For regular maintenance cleaning we recommend using Oli South Africa Wood Outdoor Cleaner.
The wood must be clean, dry, and free of grease. If the wood is dirty we recommend to clean it with Oli NaturaExterior Cleaner beforehand. If necessary, smooth wood fibres and rough spots with a fine sandpaper (220 grain).
